Intellectual potential is not lost, it is just transferred to its rightful place and it is constantly being expanded and updated.
Our digital education platform, PotePedia, which is renewing the UP MS training system, is no longer a long-term vision for our School, but has become a tangible tool for preparing our students this semester.
We are aware that perhaps there has never been such a great need to support our students in every possible way and for this reason we have launched our digital curriculum storage earlier than the original schedule, but based on careful preparations.
However, despite our efforts, we could not deviate from our intention to upload the basic, preclinical, and clinical modules of the General Medicine program by the end of the semester. In order for the system's services to be fully available, a transition period is required, during which we test that all tools intended to be introduced work properly even under intense load.
Our experiences so far are favourable, so PotePedia is developing at an accelerating pace and is about to achieve its target level by the start of the exam period as planned.
In the changed situation caused by the epidemic, our instructors and the technical team organized to support them are working hard to put our lecture and training materials, which have increased dramatically due to the pressure of distance education, to the benefit of our quality training.
The availability of learning materials will possibly exceed the expected level, so it may happen that both the elective and optional modules will be partially usable, but there will still be gaps in them that will be filled during and after the exam period.
According to our plans, we can begin the autumn semester in a way that from the day of the opening ceremony of the new academic year, all our students will have access to an up-to-date curriculum storage, i.e. PotePedia can become an everyday tool for medical students in Pécs.
